The Jacksonville Jaycees are teaming up the Beaches Habitat for Humanity. We have a maximum of 15 volunteer spots available. Volunteers will meet at the construction site, OceanGate, located at 201 Mayport Road, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233. Plan to arrive by 8:15 am to sign in and turn in your signed volunteer agreement. We are volunteering from 8:30 am-12:30 am. Water will be provided but it is recommended that you bring your own water or favorite sports drink also. 

To volunteer you must:

• Complete a Release and Waiver of Liability prior to volunteering.  (Waiver Adult_2015.pdf | BeachesWaiverMinor.pdf) If you’re younger than 18, your Release must be completed by a parent or legal guardian;
• Dress appropriately for construction work – please wear sturdy shoes that cover your whole foot (preferably work boots, but sneakers are ok);
• Are ready to get dirty?  This is a “real” construction site and you’ll be doing hard work.  Don’t worry if you don’t have experience – staff will teach you what you need to know.
