  • About Us

Service for Today, Leadership for Tomorrow, and Friendships for a Lifetime!

Chartered in 1922 The Jacksonville Jaycees is the oldest young professionals group in the city! The Jaycees; also known as the Jacksonville Junior Chamber is a not-profit organization of young active citizens age 18 to 41 who are engaged and committed to creating impact in their communities. Active citizens are individuals invested in the future of our world. JCI (Junior Chamber International) gathers active citizens from all sectors of society.

The Jaycees are the organization of choice for young people! We are a constructive action organization of men and women, ages 18-41. Members develop personally and professionally as leaders in their communities by investing time and energy in civic affairs.

The Jacksonville Jaycees serve the community in 4 ways:

COMMUNITY: Activities and projects are created and implemented through our chapter to benefit Jacksonville-based organizations.

INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT: In addition to the volunteer work we do, we are also interested in helping our members build leadership and personal skills.

MANAGEMENT: Raising funds is one of the most complex areas of our chapter. We have many projects that will touch on the other areas of development, but our focus from these projects is the money that we will raise.

MEMBERSHIP: Recruiting, developing, and encouraging members is a vital role in the Jaycees. The Jacksonville Jaycees has members of diverse backgrounds and careers.

Guests are always welcome at our events; please join us at either event listed below or any listed on our calendar and get to know us a little better!
